Why we built this.
Passd started as a complaint. Every prep course we looked at buried you in questions, slapped a progress bar on top, and still couldn’t answer the one thing you actually wanted to know: are you ready, or not?
One in three first-time candidates fails the salesperson exam. That number hasn’t moved in a decade. Every year, tens of thousands of people pay hundreds of dollars for prep that never closes the gap — mostly because it never tells them there’s a gap to close.
The problem we actually set out to solve
Generic prep treats every candidate the same: here are the chapters, here are the quizzes, good luck. It ignores the two things that actually decide the exam — where you’re weakest, and how close you are to passing today. Miss those two signals, and studying turns into activity without progress.
So Passd gives you one honest number — your Passd Score — and a weakness map that redraws itself after every question you answer.
The night-before question
Most prep is designed to make you feel good — encouragement, reassurance, the warm sense that you’re getting somewhere. Feeling ready and being ready are different things, and the distance between them is exactly where people fail.
So we built the opposite. One number that tells you where you actually stand, recalculated every time you answer a question. It’s a prediction, never a guarantee — but it’s an honest one, and if you’re not ready yet, you’ll know while there’s still time to do something about it.
Who this is for
People who’d rather study on evidence than hope — who want to see their weak spots, not avoid them, and walk in knowing the number. If you want a plan that drops the same content on everyone regardless of where they are, there’s plenty of it out there. Passd is built for the other kind of candidate.
We’re not going to promise you’ll pass
Nobody honest can. What we can do is make sure you never walk in guessing. You’ll know your weak spots, because we’ll have put them in front of you a hundred times. You’ll know your number, because it’s been staring back at you the whole way. If you pass, you’ll have seen it coming — no surprises on the one day a surprise costs the most.
