We update the question bank and content outline when commissions publish changes. The stats shown on each state landing page (question count, passing score, hours) reflect current public information, but always verify with your state commission before scheduling.
Your Passd Score is a prediction — never a guarantee. It's weighted by your state's actual topic distribution on the exam, so it reflects how you'd score on the real exam today. We validate model accuracy quarterly against candidate outcomes and target ±5% calibration. The Passd Score is a tool for focus, not a certification.
The model re-weights your estimated score with every answer. Early in your practice, individual questions carry more weight because the sample is small. As you answer more, individual questions matter less. The visible movement is real — your probability really is updating, not a visual effect.
Two gates we use as a private readout on your own page: Passd Score ≥80% and a ≥75% score on a full-length timed mock exam. Both. It's a harder signal than Passd Score alone. We don't issue a certificate, badge, or shareable link — it's just a signal to you.
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings and your access runs through the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds — your existing time is yours to use.
No refunds. The free tier is how you decide if Passd is right for you. If the diagnostic doesn't convince you, don't upgrade. We'd rather lose the sale than take your money and disappoint you.
Subscriptions (Solo at $49/mo, Tutor at $89/mo) auto-renew monthly and are the best fit if your exam date is flexible. Packs (Solo Pack at $129, Tutor Pack at $219) are one-time purchases with 90-day access and no auto-renewal — best if you have a fixed exam date ~60–90 days out. Same features per tier either way.

The Voice Tutor knows your specific weak topics, your state's content outline, and how you've been answering. It uses Claude (from Anthropic) plus OpenAI for natural voice — not browser text-to-speech. Five modes: concept explainer, question walkthrough, exam anxiety tutor, topic deep-dive, and mock debrief.
